Here some new pictures that Keith and I took of Nicholas and the family. Nicholas is 7 weeks coing up in 2 days. Its so hard to beliebe that the days are going to fast. Nicholas is changing daily.
My wedding invitations are now begining to come along. I have the invitation written out (just have to print them), I just got the registry finished and I have my business cards to send in the invitations. Now all I need to do is get the map finished and the RSVP cards written out.

A Chinese Ritual....
You may think that these eggs are for Easter that is here next weekend. This is not the case. The Chinese have a ritual once a baby reaches a month old. These red eggs in fact represent fertility, birth and life. In the Chinese culture red is a symbol of good luck and happiness. We had a big lunch at Keith's parents place to celebrate Nicholas's being a month old.

Weddings Plans are now in the works
I am now getting excited for my upcoming wedding. On Thursday, March 6, my cousin Kelly, Keith's cousin Del, and my grandma went shopping for my wedding dress. We went to a couple shops and didn't find any that appealed to me. But when we went to Jenny's Boutique Kelly found me a dress that we both fell in love with. We kept the dress in mind as we shopped around on Friday. We went to a couple boutiques and didn't find a dress that caught my eye. At the end of the day Kelly, Del, and I went to check the dress out at Jenny's once again. I am happy to say that I did put a deposit down, and now it is starting to feel surreal that I am actually going to be a bride.
I am now working on the invitations, and are hoping to get them out by the end of the month, or even sooner.

Our Bouncing Baby Boy!!
On February 8, 2008 Keith and I welcomed our bouncing baby boy into the world. Nicholas Emerson Frank Seto arrived approximately at 9:35 a.m., weighing in at 6 lbs, 12 oz, and was 20 inches long. Nicholas was born the day after the Chinese New Year!
I had a planned C-Section, and it went over quite well. I thought that I wouldn't recover as fast as I did. I was imagining all the pain from the incision before I went in. But it wasn't that bad after all. I was pretty drugged up, but by the second week I was not taking anything for the pain. Mainly because there wasn't any pain to tolerate.
Six days after my section I made it out to the school to see the kids and staff. Everyone was surprised that I was even there. But I was feeling really good, and I needed to get out of the apartment. I just couldn't stay couped up for 6-8 weeks.
Both Nicholas and I have been doing good. Nicholas is finally gaining his weight. When Nicholas arrived home he wasn't gaining his weight back. The health nurses were quite concerned. I wasn't going to give up on nursing him. I believed that both Nicholas and I needed to adapt to one another. As well, I knew that we needed to find a way to get over this hump that was setting us back a bit. I knew in my heart that we would soon find away to adapt to one another. I also was lucky to have the support of my mom that stayed with us for 2 weeks. It was great having her around. Not just for the extra support, but to have her show me the ropes. After mom left on February 24, Nicholas has finally adapted to nursing and is doing amazingly well.
Starting over......
I cannot remember my other blog that I had started last year, so I decided to start over. More so, its just easier for family and friends to keep in touch with us, and yet know how our family is doing.
